Deuce is a really nice young male. He’s a good retriever, has an exceptional nose, nice mouth, and is very stylish in the field. He is line strady and unreliably steady to flush and shot. Deuce has that Springer switch, where he turns it on in the field and is nice and relazed when he isn’t working. He is very quiet in his crate, and is a clean dog. He has a couple of season of hunting under his belt and is good in cattails and thick cover. He loves the water and would also make a great early season waterfowl dog.
in the hands of a sensible amateur trainer, he definitely has field trial potential. Without a doubt, Deuce will be a fantastic hunting dog for the hard-core hunting guide, or the weekend warrior who wants a great pet that hunts.
